Default My new X-Treme Jets 2m Viper

My new X-Treme Jets 2m Viper.
Guys!
I know there are many threads on the 2m Viper but my solution might help some others X-treme jets 2m Viper builders.
Of course!
I used all the info/tip I get from Ali/Alex when I built my Viper.

I must just to say that the quality is great for the money I have pay for the model.

But!
One thing I not can understand!?
Why use X-treme jets not a bypass duct systems for the 2m Viper ?
The are" only" benefits with duct systems ...(in all models)
Guys ,the Bvm by pass duct is perfect for the P-80 SE

The equipment list of what I have used in the Viper.

Jet Cat P-80 SE

Futaba 6014 FS Receiver

Servon (Futaba) BLS 252 x 6 S9551 x 2

Jet Tronics M-Valve and JD-Valve.

Bvm UAT tank.

The pilot Is a mix of 1:6 scale pilots

Pro-mark rivets/panel lines

Bvm Bypass/Duct

Bvm Turbine Mounts & Straps

Bvm EZ Air Quick Disconnect

Bvm Air Micro Switch

Bvm Air Fill Valve x 2

Bvm Mini Air Gauges (par)

Bvm Kevlar Tank Hardware x 2

Bvm Fuel Owerflow Fittings

Bvm Button Head Screw

Bvm 3/8"long Button Head

Bvm Poly Tubing

Heat Sheild

Servo lead ID sheet (Promark)

Aero Poxy x 2

My goal is the maiden will be at Domain the Planet (France) in january 2011, because we probably have one meter snow in(Stockholm)
Sweden in january.

I followed Ali's /Alex advice !
I moved all the tank fittings and replaced them to BVM accessories.

Hi Lasse,

Did you put your own fat carbon pegs on the fins ?
I just have M3 metal studs.

That's right!
I put some carbon fiber tubes there.

As a recommended by (Ali)
It got to be with a carbon fiber tubes.
I also reinforced the frame with carbon fiber (rowing).

The mains landing gear has a habit of staying locked up when you try to lower them. I lost my Viper when one gear locked up & I tried a couple of tight loops to free it. The jet snapped & went into a terminal flat spin.
The solution to the gear staying locked, is to file the top of the retract sideplate up locking ridge, so that the gear comes down more easily.
Having said all that, the Viper is fast to build & great to fly.

My radio installation in the fuselage is for me a good solution.
The carbon fiber is only a cool thing!

See pictures!

The winglets must of course be dismantled...
How else are they going to fit in the wing bags from Jackie Sacks (USA)..

It's time to fit the Bvm Bypass Duct in the model, and I used the orginal tailpipe.
Hmm, I use the belmounth ring to the plug for the inlets duct, and it worked.

If it is leaking fuel/gas!!
That can be good with a vent/hole in the fuselage..

To make it easy for me!!
I will use the EZ-AIR quick disconnect and MPX plugs in the wings and fuselage.
