The Russians hated our guts at the time of all the moon landing stuff. Even they admitted that we did it. That must give it some bulletproofness as to whether it is a myth or not. Their technology was right in line with ours and you deffinately would have heard them crying foul if it all was fake. Anyone else agree?

I think that the best myth would be turbine A can be civilly discussed on RCU without the turbine B fans telling us all why turbine A is not as good as turbine B. Same can be said for radio A vs radio B, or really, the myth that the Chinese are actually producing safe, high quality airplanes!

Don´t blame the Russians for starting this myth.. It all started with a hollywood movie called ''Capricorn 1'' wich tells the story of a faked NASA trip to mars. (Worth watching it just for the outstanding helicopter chase scene), so this bad taste joke is completely made in the U.S.A. Even Buzz Aldrin got feed up of it and punched a American reporter in the face, not long ago.
Also the Russians put the first man in space, among other things so I don´t think they hate the guts of anyone.

Astronomers at the Engelbert Humperdink Observatory in Devon were amazed earler this week to find what appeared to be a foreign object on the surface of the moon. Lead stargazer Patrick Mooreton has this to say "I looked up at the moon on Monday and spotted what appeared to be a foreign object. On closer inspection I was relieved to find it was in fact English. Somehow a double decker bus had made it's way to the moon with a chap called dowieslovechild at the wheel."

Read my post again....I didn't say they started the myth, quite the opposite. And in the 1960's they were anything BUT friends.
So in your opinion, some evil individual or organization started a conspiracy with Russian complicity to declare that the moon landing was faked? You can include this in your myth poll too.

I am saying that IF it were faked (which it was not) then the Russians would have never let us get away with it, because they were NOT our friends, and they would have run the evidence of the fakery on the front page of the Pravda newspaper.
If the Russians, who know a thing or two about space travel and are thus are considerably more technologically advanced than the average Hollywood script writer or internet blogger did not scream "FAKE" at the top their lungs, then the landing event probably did happen.
Get it?
