Mirce,
You do nice scale work but your Star and Bar are not correct. Here is some help. It would be a shame to get it wrong on such a nice model.

Thank you Chris for post...

After this explanation it's more clear what is right shape of insignia. Now, I'll try to fix my star and bar to be correct, but maybe now it will be impossibly because shape of the blue part...
I use some stars and bar picture from Internet, when I draw my, but now I saw that those was bad. But, after this post, I'll change my future template...

Regards

And few more pictures...

My small dilemma is weathering, to do it, or not?
I like when model look "dirt & old" but because I want to sell it maybe potential buyer will not be happy to have surface like that.

Beautiful Work!! Nothing is better than painted on insignia's. As for weathering? Less is more. I would just very lightly do hinged areas and fuel cap area with some very light dirt and reddish brown on the bottom to represent hydrolic leaks and such. Did I mention VERY lightly Then if the new owner wants to.. he can add more.

OK, Panther is finally finished...

After thinking about weathering, I decided to not made it this time. If some one want it, weathering can be added...

So, few days ago I put letters from Taylor Decals firm on surface and took model on final painting - layer of 60% gloss clear cote...

Results? See for yourself...

Yesterday I put some Panther parts back in to the model...

Inside, under of the cockpit, model is green, same like in area of the wheels...

Thrust tube was easy to instal... Tube is from two walls titanium sheet metal and same like aluminum inlets was made in German firm Jet Cat..

Nice day "call me" to get out in front of my work shop, so I instal retracts and wheels cover in my back yard...
Retracts are from Robart and front leg I bought later from German firm Behotec. Geometry of that leg suit better for grassy air field we have here...

Sunny day was perfect to made pictures of surface with all details...

To be continued...

Panther is now ready to change owner... As I told here, few times earlier in this topic, I want to sell this model.
I can send model world wide and more information about price and shipping conditions you can get if you send me e-mail: [email protected]

Thanks 2walla...

Yes they use picture of my F9F in my backyard. Later they change design a little, added shark mouth and scull is flattened... Never mind, I'm proud to my work was used by famous jet firm...
But, to be honest, I saw this color scheme first time on Ali's Airworld Cougar, so all credit for nice color scheme go to him or some of his designer...

At the end, never mind, most important is to model look nice, on the ground and in the air too...

Price is just as much as me costs parts for model, wheels, retracts and thrust tube.
I not charge price for plans, labor and painting.
Shipping depend of where model must be send.

I must be sincere my airfield is not perfect, little more rough than it must to be, and my landings could be more smooth.
On every landing I swing front leg. So few weeks ago I change Robart front leg for German Behotec one. Geometry of Behotec gear is better, and my opinion is that it will be better for my airfield.

Behotec gear I putt in Robart mechanism. I must made few little changer, but result is good.

I add two wooden triangles and push leg more forward when it is in open position.

I was not fly Panther with this new gear... We will see, I hope now everything will be OK...

Mirce, Love your work and your thread was very inspirational to me so I have been working on my own Panther. Started on Monday June 23rd and the pictures here show my progress! It is very easy to build, very nice plan.

I will be needing all of your Panther details you make, panel lines and rivets, so it will look as nice as yours! I want to have mine ready to glass in two weeks.

I'm using Shinden Machine retracts, Dreamworks wheels and brakes and an 80oz Kevlar fuel tank by Jet Tech with a BVM UAT. It will be powered with a Kingtech K80.

Luke

Mirce! I have made great progress and will be needing your detail sets, I have sent an email with my request. I am very excited about using your detail sets for the finish! This is how my plane looks after just two and a half months of work!

I basically finished the plane from the inside out, I added so many details that the tubing and wires got a little overwhelming! I will not be removing them for finishing, only the turbine and then mask everything inside carefully.

I added a air operated sliding canopy, air brakes in front, full sequencing scale gear doors and a removable nose cone for any weight needed to balance. It has a Jet Tech 93oz kevlar fuel cell and I'm using Intairco wheels and brakes from Dreamworks. The stock canopy is way oversized so I cut mine down in height and length and will be vacuum forming the clear sections out of .040 PETG.

Very, very, very nice.... In just two and half month???

I enjoy when have opportunity to see nice model building.

Last year me and my family move in new city, start for us completely new business. All my models was sold. But, every day I think about some new project, so soon something new will be on building table. OK, that will not be jet, but some big warbird model... Can't wait to start...

About Detail set, no problem to made you all what you need. Just to inform you, in Detail set you will get all details for wing and fuselage. For that details, set contains rivets and dummy screws. But just for details.

If you want panel lines, rivets, dummy screws for all surface, you will need Mirce Finish Set - http://www.nsmodelers.rs/home/mirce-finish-set

If you want to go one step forward and made all rivets, like on real F9F, you need extra rivets. I made that on my Panther when made "face lift" on it...
Price depend from rivet number.

Hope this small explanation will help for better understanding what is in every product. More info on my web site: www.nsmodelers.rs

One more time, you made nice job on your model. You will enjoyed very much with it. Panther fly soooooooooooooo good...

Andreas, guy from Germany who bought my Panther, send me video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY0HvKmJWig

Thanks,

Luke
