Hi Christian I am not very good at copying and pasting.
If you go to youtube and type Maiden flight Ya f18 single wren 44 you can see a video of my first flight of my Hornet. There is a little bit of coverage of the turbine installation. I hope this helps. If you send me your e-mail I can send you some pictures. Regards Ron.

Christian I converted one many years ago to a RAM 500. It is important to reinforce the rear of the fuselage in the tail area with carbon cloth. I also ordered all the new formers from BVM. As for location of turbine I purchased a bypass and pipe from BVM. It came with plans. When I sold the plane I gave him the plans. Maybe some one has a set of plans that they can pull the measurements for you. If you have the servo operated gear I think you will have problems. I converted mine to air and it worked great. Good luck Dan Avilla BVM rep

Hi Christian, I use to have one of the BVM AFS Version of thi plane. The main fuel tank sat under the inlet/bypass area, but there was also an 11oz saddle tank that was on the right side of the fusalage behind the rear wing former wich increased the fuel capacity to just over 2 Litres. I believe the CG was at 10 inches from the wing root rib back. But after we flew it we moved it about a 1/2 inch further aft of that so it came out to 10 1/2 inches back.

RE: BVM F-86 60
many thanks for info....
i search right tank position to have a right rotation during take off...
i think that 2 litres in front to cg is not properly good....and maybe there
are a change setup when tank are empty... (like my SM F-86)
then i would be try with n.2 1litres bottle near gc and turbine just on the rear of them
where is the position of BVM fuel tank?
ps ..do you have a photo about internal layout?? rx, valves, turbine ecc??

Chris,
Sent you pics...Some are from the bvm plans, you can see the exact location of the tank. This setup works well, i also have an 11oz dubro saddle tank along side the motor. It is not really needed with the P-60 and i typically land with it still full.

RE: BVM F-86 60
i not found the tank for my f-86 then i will try with n.2 1litre tank (cost 2,50 euro each)
if all will be ok i can buy the conformal fuel cell to fit inlet bypass

Christian Looks good. I'm sure you plan on teeing them to a UAT before the pump. Also It will be interesting if you have any problems with the extra air pressure wanting to keep the doors open. My buddy has a BVM T 33 with out a bypass and it works good. I think it will work fine. Good luck Dan

Dan,
Love the Canadair Sabre. What did you use to get that aluminum finish? I just bought an older completely untouched BVM 60" Sabre kit so I'm looking at aluminum finish options.
