Always had a soft spot for the Chap
I am sure I have heard that there are tablets you can get that will help with that!

I could spout some nonsense about a micro climate surrounding Bickley, or suggest that good weather surrounds me and my travels..... but I wont! Its gonna be windy.. fact!, that seems to be the norm for the Uk at the moment.[:@] I guess we just have to deal with it, and hope its blowing straight ( ish) down the strip (s) If not.. then I guess it will be foam dustbuster mayhem all day. ( I think I might invest in another Lipo)

Decided to try something new, not the usual underground/train route (bus this time).

even if it is windy and in the wrong direction for the strip we'll make adjustments to get you all flying. We may have to reduce the a amount up at the same time and you will have to be very aware of where not to fly but we'll make it work somehow.

I also have a couple of things up my sleeve for the event which you won't find out about till Saturday morning but rest assured you'll all like them!!

ADAM - if you really can't find the form that everyone else has used to book in, then let me know what he's flying, on what freq and on what days and..... is he camping it up? Then paypal the money. All details are in this thread

True Dom, True..
Did you get your nose retract sorted?
Alex... at £159 ready to go, that Habu is a giveaway price right now. Let me know and I can bring one down for you. I will have it built and charged ready to go on Saturday for you..
As for the loan of a jet.. Any of mine are available for hire
Greg..
I am so hoping that those couple of things up those long sleeves of yours entail 2 ton of Dynamite scattered around that gun club?? [>:] Just gotta head out this evening and do some more testing on this new Turboprop of mine [>:][>:]
Regards Al

Arriving tomorrow, then will nip around Rich's to see if we need to make some adapters to get the pro-lynx oleo fitted otherwise might have to nip around to Marc's and get him to make a nose ski out of FR4.

Alas no, the gun club still is a massive issue and flying anywhere near it is simply not an option.

joking aside It is a major headache thats not going away and non conformers will not be tolerated. I've said many times in this thread that large and fast models are not suitable for Bickley so please remember that and don't bring them. Noise is of course also an issue and will be dealt with if necessary. The future of the club is at stake here not just the event so I don't want the locals to have anything to complain about.

Please help me to make this event a success again guys, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE.....

Go on then bring one down for me but I'll hold you to the ready built and charged idea. Always wanted to buy a turnkey jet off you Life wouldn't be the same without giving you money...

Hi Vease

I presume there's going to be a detailed briefing about the no fly zones? Having never been there before would it be an idea to have a demo flight showing the extremities of the allowed box? Just an idea but might be useful for those of us that have never flown at Bickley before.

Hi Gary..............I don't hate boomers infact I enjoy flying them, it's just a bit boring watching them go round in circles at big public events. Thanks for the offer but I'll stick with my own jets, to be honest I find flying other people's a little stressful.

See you Saturday
