my one is back on her legs now. Sits pretty level as can be seen in the pics.
Just need to fill the uat and get her balanced by moving the battery packs around a bit, but don't see there being any issues.

With two fuel tanks in parallel, will fuel or only air move towards the UAT after the 1st tank is empty?
Had that problem in a JHH-MW44 Sabre: one of the parallel saddle tanks would not empty completely and the other fed bubbles to the turbine, causing early flame outs. Hooked them in parallel and got longer flight times. The tanks on the SU are not so far off centerline that you couldn't plumb them in series and expect little roll trim change.

something i've been debating for a while, as to how much effect it would have on roll trim if plumbed in series. I have them set as parallel at the moment, but will see how I get on, hoping that they will be used pretty much equally during the flight as the vent tubes are also joined too, and using the mini bubble trap so shouldn't have any issues with bubbles.

As far as I can remember the way most people have done this succesfully is to plumb both tank feeds directly into the header tank and feed the turbine pump from the header tank, makes sence to me.

I can assure that from my experience the version with tanks in row do not cause any problems regarding roll trim. The tanks are just too close to the centre line. I have never been a friend of tanks in parallel, had never experienced a flame out so I would not reccommend the "parallel-version".
The only important thing I see is to use tubings that are flexible enough to let the clunk reach every point of the tank. For larger turbines I have always used the 1/4" yellow Tygon tubing. For the P 20, this tubing is useless, its just not flexible enough. But I found a smaller diametre Tygon tubing and think this is the best for such small tanks. The outer diametre is just 4 mm and it is extremely flexible.I strongly reccommend this type of tubing .

I have 6mm tygon in all my P-20 tanks! With my prefered felt clunk wet, it has enough weight to move around the four edges and the sponge nature of felt covers the out of fuel moments, nose down. I don't have problems. But agree it is not 100%, so BVM clunk line material would be my choice if the tank was very long.
Model flies great with a P-20....like we knew

I had tested the 6 mm version earlier but was never satisfied- especially when the tubing gets older it is less flexible. Then I came across the thinner tygon tubing and ordered roll.Wow - that was a difference ! On my F 100 ( P 20 engine as well ) ,I have a special tank configuration, as the space in this fully ducted model is very limited.Tanks are super flat and carry 330 ml each. The clunk works much better with the thin Tygon ,even in these little tanks. On small jets , I will not use any other tubing now.Its just perfect.

I have models with 8 year old tygon clunk lines. I was always worried about the tube becoming stiff, but I don't seem to have a problem. I always leave a little fuel in my systems, never drain a tank after flying. For sure the new small models need a slightly different approach, tanks like you show I would happily use 6mm tube!

Seeing we didn't have a video camera and I'm not aware of any others flying yet...why you looking?

Unfortunately it was a friday and no one was there with a video.
Plenty of performance! Make J.F a nice offer and you can have his [X(] everything is forsale for the right deal...except my Habu 32!!

I enjoy building too much to buy any more second hand airframes, if you guys get a chance it would be good to see a video of it.
Is the Habu that good that its not for sale?
