RE: Tomahawk Futura 1.9m P-80
Awww come on Ali - it's only gusting 41 mph this weekend - I was even thinking of taking the Nano demonstrator out for a spin [8D]
I like sweet flying fugly planes altho I must say the Futuras look really good in the motorsport schemes.
Would be really interested to know how it flies compared to the biggie.

A Nano would be the perfect jet for this weather. Gotta love a bit of Fug. That was in-fact the name that I christened Alan's canard design with. We were flying it at Cali jets a few years ago and people kept asking him what it was called. I blatted out Fugly and he loved it. He spent two days telling the world it was called fugly.. It was only after the third day I told him the meaning... bless him

Looks like it will have to be next weekend before we get any flight reports [:'(]
No problem Axel. Have you decided on a colour scheme yet? Let me know what the final decision is and I will get Dunc ( Cpt vinyl) onto it.
I now need to plan another colour scheme for me, as it looks like I will be needing a new 1.9

Go with the BMW colours so I can see how they look!
Acctually after looking that livery up the blue looks a lot nicer than on the drawing.
Then there's always [link=http://www.digi-help.com/auto/mclaren-mp4-21-formula-one-2006.asp]McLaren's 2006 colours[/link]!

I bet there is too much block colour on it, the same as last time lol
The new Mclaren scheme is fictional apparently, they are sticking with black, chrome and flou red

Yaaaaaaawwwwwwwwnnnnnnnn
For me not to give you stick until the end of time, the next glossy sport paint job you have done on a big model needs to be so damn perfect it's untrue!!

No. it just needs to be better than the last few jobs you have done... In which case, I should be safe, as my new painter is going to have a crack..

Sverriririr
Stop showing those pictures, Grrrrr
I have been waiting ever since JetPower for mine to be delivered (the big one), the only thing I do at the moment is to sit and play with crayons on a printout of the shape of the Futura (I'm going the "Vinyl way" also)
Should be here with me in a week or so, can't wait to see it !

I know this feeling... Now that my Big Futura is at home and under building stage, my brain health is way better !
Mine will be a mix between paint and vinyl...
