EMCOTEC UniveralTester
Hi everybody,
does anyone know the EMCOTEC UniveralTester?
I bought it and can not connect it correctly, I found instructions poorly made, because it shows no time, a small drawing or a picture, that show how to connect it ... so, is anyone of you use it and could do me a photo of his connection?
thank you in advance. :-)
PS: knowing, of course, that it has been many months since I try to get this from a EMCOTEC ... they are pathetic ...

Looks like there is only one connection to be made, (Apart from the optional alarm-led)
Plug it in to a RX channel and go. What exactly is the problem you're having?

this system does not work in 4.8 or 5V.
Here is the answer to EMCOTEC:
Dear Sir
you have to set to Lipo (programm 2).
You must connect the tester directly to the Batterie not to the receiver, because it is regulated.

2s Lipo through regulator to receiver.
You want to monitor battery voltage?
I don't own one of these but I think it is straightforward.
You need to attach it to the wire between the battery and the regulator.
What type of plug is there on the battery? If it is a JR connector you could use a Y-lead. I would want to make it more permanent so would either solder it to the regulator plug (the one that plugs into the battery) or, if you don't want to cut the plug off the Tester, you could cut the plug off a servo extension and solder that to the regulator connector and then plug in the tester.
Or use a regulator that monitors battery voltage such as EMCOTEC BIC or powerbox.

++I would like simply to turn it on at the same time I turn on the switch.
I do not want it to remain turned on all the time, and I want it gives me the voltage of the lipo.
Or use a regulator that monitors battery voltage such as EMCOTEC BIC or powerbox.
