there are 2 holes on each nacelle, from the inside of the nacelle you can secure them with two 4 mm bolt to the fuselaje, you will have to do this before engine installation of course, take a good look and you will find those two holes on each nacelle, hope it helps.

That helps alot. I kinda wish they kept the original way of bolting on the nacelles, cause it made it easier to access that rear compartment. I like to put my light stuff back there. Like air tanks and such. Its harder to now, but possible

Got another question everyone. I have been looking inside the wings and I do not see the tunnel in which my extensions will run through. I'm wondering if skymaster didn't cut them appropriately during the build. Any ideas?
Also, on my old a-10 thereally was a passage in there. I just don't think it's in this one.

Thanks

You are right, skymaster didn't cut a hole on G2 A-10, what i did was a 15 mm hole with a reamer attached to a 20 inches long dowel, you will have to cut that hole directly below (if you are working with the wing upside down like i did) the main landing gear former or rib, it is hard plywood over there, i can upload a couple of pictures tomorrow if you need them, take care.

Thanks, I got it all cut thanks to your answer.

Has anyone seen an issue with putting the ecu's inside the nacelles?

Hey guys, finally maidened my a-10. Went well. But on the second flight my gear came down due to the failsafe activating. After looking around awhile I found the culprit. After the left main is retracted into the up position and the pin is pushed into the gear to hold it up it's fine. But as soon as there are any positive G' s put on the airplane the left main tries to come down and it lets air out of the little cylinder holding the gear up. Anyway I can fix this, or do I need a new cylinder?

Thanks

Steven

Sorry, the A-10 is twin turbines and scale function wings, this will make it impassable under 20kg kg.,

Hi Westwindpilot86.

Congrats with the maiden, many happy hours with the A10.

I had a similar issue and after fitting the unlocks that Skymaster sent me I had a permanent air leak. After redoing all the air piping and some fittings I found that the Noes gear door cylinder was leaking. The up locks work a treat as long as they are adjusted correctly. My fist flight with them they did not work due to the fact that I set them up upside down and did not allow for the a bit of clearance. the airflow under the wing keeps the gear open ever so slightly and then the unlocks miss when closing. Any way that is all sorted now. I have one of the very very fist G1 airframes which is a bit heavy but flies great.

Have a great day

Regards

JB
