The 3rd generation 1/8 F-16 is getting closer.
Here is few detail.
Scale gear, TJ-ProLite wheels/brakes and ailerons.
The material also chance to lighten up the kit.
The new kit is a pound lighter than 2nd generation.
Other than that.
Everything still remain the same.

Here is the 2nd generation with the mod for scale gear.

Yes it can be done with scale gear.
That what I did. It a lot works bust out nose gear former and brace up the main former to retrofit the scale gear.

On Gen 2 adding the scale nose gear I would say is not worth it. Tam's works great. The JL nose gear has some slop on steering, which goes away once there is a load on it. IMO, Tam's nose gear is more robust.

If at all, I would focus on retrofitting the scale main gear, but only because it looks awesome.

Hey Tejas freaks, how about a bundle discount? I'm down for one.

I've seen everything from a p-60 to a p-120 in the gen 2 plane, so gen 3 should be no different.

I think the weight will be in the 15-16 lb range, so I'm not sure how well the Wren 44 will fly it.

P-100 is the recommended combo that Tam suggest.
