RE: Shulman Aviation Turbinator ARF
Well, I recieved my Turbinator ARF a few days ago. No progress yet, just getting a few things in line for the assembly.
Big thanks to Shulman Aviation and Jets Over Kentucky! I was lucky enough to pick up a 50% off certificate at the pilots dinner.
After the demise of my Shokjet, I needed a new anytime, anywhere jet. I will push it through ahead of the BIG 18 and get it flying hopefully before the New Years Day Fly In and Turkey Fry.
Will be pushed by an ancient amt 180 and some of the stuff out of my Shokjet.

Just received my turbinator!
how is everyone fastening the canopy to the hatch? I was thinking of trimming the canopy, then gluing and or screwing it to the hatch?
any thoughts or help would be appreciated!!

Screwed mine on with 5/16" button heads since I was pressed for time(backed up with 1/32 ply), seems to work fine. I would have glued it with Formula 560 if I was not in a rush....

Thanks for the help guys. I appreciate it.
I've got another question,....pertaining to the decals....
Whats the clear sheet of film for? I'm assuming its a release film.?, what the best way to apply the decals? With or without the release film.
thanks again!

This thread covers the ARF, your scratch building one from plans. Not sure if it all translates over, I imagine the plans would have accurate detail for CG and throws for this version?
