Just a reminder, the Best In The West web site is up, www.bestinthewestjetrally.com if anyone is planning on renting a 20 X 20 tent, please go to the web site and click the Rental link and see the open spots for tents, as of today 6/30 there are 21 spots that have been rented, L1 thru L12 and R1 thru R9 are rented. we are in the second row now, and will be in the 3rd row soon, if you want a tent and avoid being in the 3rd row, please call Joe or Lowell to reserve your tent location, funds do not have to be sent to reserve a spot, just you telling us you want to rent one is good enough, payments for Tent rental and pre-reg must be in by Sept 23rd. If you plan on attending the Banquet, please let us know as well, Banwuet fee due before Sept 23rd as well. You may also pre-reg on-line without printing the form and mailing it in. If you plan on staying at the Best Western Hotel, I would call now to make your reservation, and to avoid "no vacancy". If anyone has any questions, please call us. Thanks Joe C!!!!

The Banquet has been booked at The Padre Hotel http://www.thepadrehotel.com/ Banquet tickets are $35.00 per person. If you are attending BITW and you will be attending the Banquet, please let us know. Log onto the BITW web site and fill out the Pre-Registration form, money needs to be sent in before sept. 23rd. If you pre-reg on-line and you pay at show, fee will still be $60.00, so take advantage of the $50.00 fee. Also Tents, if you want to rent a tent, tables or chairs, please let us know so you may still get a good spot. If there is any questions please contact Lowell or Joe. Thanks Joe C!!!

Best in the West will be hosting a get together/dinner at the field Friday night at 7:00pm. This will be for all registered pilots. We hope you all will attend. This one is on us guys so let us know your coming so we can get a good head count. There might even be a loaf or two of some Banana Bread there!! So let us know and let's have some fun!!

Thanks Lowell for the announcement, we are not sure what the menu will be, maybe Tri-Tip. Dinner will be served in the lunch area tent. Time is approaching fast, please go to the web site www.bestinthewestjetrally.com and pre-register. We also need to know if you will be attending the Banquet, the Banquet will be held at the elegant; The Padre Hotel. We will have lots of great items for you to bid on, and 30 awards to hand out, here are some of the sponsors: Kingtech USA donated a Kingtech 170 Kero Start and I beleive a 140 Kero Start. Dr. Ken Wagner donated a 1 hour ride in his "Lady Alice" P-51D Mustang, Boomerang Jets donated a Nano kit, Mike Lin of Global Jet Club donated a kit/retracts, Tam donated a TJ 100 and more. These are a few of the items that will be at the auction and plenty more so don't miss out on a good oppertunity to bid on an item at a great price. We like to thank all our sponsors who have donated product and cash, without them we can not put on such a great event. Tent rentals, if you are considering renting a tent, now is the time to do so, don't wait for the last minute, please contact Joe or Lowell, if anyone has any questions, please give us a call. Remember this is a charity event, proceedes going to The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles, if you would like to make a tax deductable donation, please go to the web site and you will find a donation form to fill out. Thanks Tony, Best In The West is approaching very fast. If you have not pre-registered, please do so, either by on-line, or send in the pre-registration form, all payments must be in before Sept 23rd. Tents, please let me know if you are interested in renting a 20 X 20 tent, all tents will be erected on Tuesday September 27th, you are more than welcomed to come in on Wed and set up your tent area and fly, if you do not rent a tent, you are still welcomed to come early on wed and set up your own pop-up tent and fly for the day. Banquet, I need to know more importantly if you will be attending the Banquet, this year the banquet will be held at the Elegant; The Padre Hotel, there will be a sit down dinner. We will also be handing out 30 Awards and then the Auction. I hope to see you all come out and enjoy the show, there will also be again this year the Pyrotechnic show, if you would like to participate in flying in the show, please contact me.
