No chance of Miller - I'd be too worried about him invading my man space and as for me and Bugz well yes that could be scary if we get carried away.

I've got an up and coming potential "Goose" to fly with next year - unless you want to be my wingman Ali? Reckon you could keep up?

Ali you and Dave stephens should enter with the turbine big gliders, very impressive bit of formation flying seen at Cosford few years ago

Would love to, but Dave is no longer flying the toys from the outside.. He now chooses to sit inside them

Good call Simon. I look forward to it. Will you be for hire? As I am having serious thoughts about giving this event a go next year and could use the encouragement.
Thanks for the offer Colin, but I would hate to hold you back..

He will be back, we all come back, I done the same and got into fullsize back in early 90's and modelling got pushed to one side but it slowly fought it's way back and now 9 times out of 10 my flying is standing looking up rather than down

You flew full size whilst standing???
I somehow doubt he will be back form this one. I have had the pleasure of calling him a friend for just over 13 years and seen him dabble with other hobbies along the way.. but I have never seen him dive so deeply as he has done with Full size flying. [] He's getting pretty damn good at it as well. His latest build ( The green RV8 fastback in the photo) Looks stunning, and goes just as well.
I had hopes for his son ( as he is a damn good RC pilot as well ) but he went and ruined it by falling in love with a lovely girl [:@]

Myself and Colin did actually have a bit of secret training prior to the Formation cup, but Colin got carried away a bit and nearly took the ole Nano out. Greatfun, but hard to do well. Perhaps me and Colin next year with Mr Miller as spotter?
