Well...it flies! <snip> Kentucky here we come!!
Congrats Beave on the Tucano flight with new Mighty Jetcat. I told you that you'd be happy with it. Lucky Pierre and I are looking forward to seeing what you can do with the Tucano in Kentucky.

BTW, nice flying field. How was lunch?

Why thank you ever so much for the kind words Pierre! Lunch was grand as always. We had to move to the back fields because our main flying fields just got razed for a new irrigation system and is currently OTS. The cool thing is that even the back fields are in better shape than most any grass field in existence...pretty much like giant putting greens. Ahh...the toils of life...

Gonzalo,

I reviewed the ECU data this evening and found that at 165,000 NG the prop only hit 7500 RPM inflight (I had set the rev limiter to 7650) so I increased the NG to 170,000 RPM and bumped the prop up to 7750 RPM.

I'm probably not going to fly it again until Kentucky so no more updates until then.

Beave
