Default Thunderbirds in Finland

I had the priviledge of seeing the Thunderbirds live and also to fly my MiG-21 BIS in the Turku International Air Show last weekend. The weather wasn´t perfect, on Saturday it rained too much for me to fly and on Sunday the TB:s did not fly in the pouring rain. It amazed me how much the TB show resembles the stuff we do every day with our jet models...low slow 8-point rolls for example. I must have taxied the MiG for about 4 kilometers over the weekend between the display place and night hangar. It flew really well impressing the crowd including old MiG-21 pilots. Did You know that the real thing needed no ailerons for a nice roll...just some rudder! There will be a TB flyover in Helsinki on Wednesday, I´m definitely going to go and check that out too...This is what its all about!

Thanks! Its a Fei Bao one with a Wren 120 Pro. The dorsal area has been modified to look more like a BIS than MF it originally is.
