6-8 is what to shoot for, they are extremely busy, that was my experience, dont rush them like I did. i think you will like it i really like mine so far, I'm already planning my next projects

I fly a tiger meet 1/7 FEJ F-16 on the P-80. I fly off a mat system and don't have any issues getting off the ground. If I was looking to buy a turbine to put in the F-16 it would not be the P-120 unless you plan on carrying more fuel. I would lean towards the P-100. Weight, size, fuel economy and power the P-100 would be a great in the F-16.

Are you flying with turbine mounted in the tail cone? Can you post a few pictures of your jet?

No I have it in the center hatch area with a FEJ tail pipe. No way to hang a P-80 in the tail without having to add quite a bit of nose weight to offset it. The tail mount is for a turbine the weight of a P-60. Even then you end up having all your batteries and gear as far up front to reach balance. Will open up my F-16 and post some pictures of the install tomm for you.

Launch Pad...are you sure that is a 1/7th FEJM F-16 or are you talking about one of the older 1/8th scale F-16`s?? I don`t think there are any 1/7th F-16`s delivered or flying yet??

You guys are correct....did not even notice the scale. This is the older 1/8 scale FEJ F-16. So used to seeing the discussions on the large scale ships vs the smaller.

well waiting is a long time.
but thinking of the turbine 120 or 100, fuel, weight, start from short grass field.
got much time to think about it now, follow some threads here.
it would be nice someone building a 1/7 F16 here and have a thread.
this weekend jets over pampa here that will be fun.

I think the new JC P-100 would be an excellent choice. I already have a P-120sx sitting on shelf so that will be my choice. The jet will be over powered but i can always use the extra power out here in Az on one of those very hot summer days...

The nose was changed to save weight in the nose, I guess they are nose heavy like my 1/6 so they changed the nose design. extra wood and stuff
James told me that, I was expecting the nose to come off with mine until I received it.
