Last of my Friday shots.

You can't go through Rural Pennsylvania and not see a covered bridge!
Reggie on his Horn, he couldn't bring a Gong like Jim (rcjets63) did to KY Jets so this was the next best thing
I did here the horn blow for a few landings

Eric Clapp from Jet Central, one of the events sponsors

Thanks Eric for spotting for me.

Saturday started off with lot's of overcast, the weather went down hill from there!
Eric and Annetta Clapp at the Jet Central Tent, Eric told me he only had two Turbines left to display in Hamburg after being at the WJM in Dayton Ohio last week, he sold 14 on site!
The Hamburg field is WIDE open!
The field was in great shape, this was my first time flying off of grass with a Turbine....I liked it!!!

More Saturday shots
Bob Violet made the Saturday event coming directly from the WJM in Dayton.
The Tucanno lost a prop in flight, did a bit of damage to the wing when it departed.

Last of my shots from Saturday
I finally figured out why Jim Brown is always smiling
I think Andy was afraid he was goin to melt in the rain...he was carrying a bowl of candy
All in all it was a great meet, too bad mother nature didn't hold off for a few more hours!

You all looked like you had a great time in eastern Pa,why not send some of your rain out here to very hot(a dry heat) Arizona desert. BTW Marc I hope you and Larry are still flying at Mt Pocono apt. and at least from this shot Don's has lost a bunch of weight.

As always the Farview R/c members puts on a Great event.

Good flying, great friends and a great field, what more can you ask for? Well maybe a port-o-john on the other end of the field....but all kiding aside. Great event.. again

Good time had by all.

The MD/PA/DE gang had a great time. We flew almost non stop on Thursday, Friday and Saturday until the rain and got a few in this morning. I logged over 24 flights on all of the planes I/we brought. Between the six of us ( Jimmy, Harold, Buddy, Bob, Chris and myself) we had three Reactions 54 kit versions, a BVM F-86 EDF, a BVM Electra EDF, two Yellow Aircraft Starfire's EDF powered, a Yellow F-18 single BVM EDF powered, a Facet 2300, a Habu 32, a Zirioli Turbinator for a total of 11 planes. The host club did a great job pulling this off and thnak you for doing so for all of us. We'll all be back in 8 weeks for the Oct event.

Jet friends,

My heart was touched by the awesome turnout, and overwhelming support for our event. It was awesome to see you all having fun, burning kero, and laughing it up.Everyone was a class act,and we are humbled by you all making the trip to spend time with us.

I was frazzled at the awards presentation, and forgot the most important part, which are my Thank you's.I'll start with Mike Lesher, for embracing the idea, and having an amazingly positive spirit.Seeing him enjoying himself touched us beyond words. Our hearts are all yours Mike.Thank You.

Next I need to thank our core volunteer members, and their wives, for helping me pull this off, with Lee out of commission. He left some enormous shoes to fill, and I couldn't have begun to wrestle that task without your help.Too many names to post here, but you know who you are.Thank You.

Our sponsors were all very generous, and always make the event even better.Special thanks to Dave,Pete, and Dave Jr with Horizon hobbies,Bob Violett and BVM models,Kerry Sterner and USSimjet,Eric Clapp and Jet Central Turbines,Alan Hoes and Jetcat USA,Todd Witkoff and Dreamworks,Hidden Hangar, and Hobby Hangar.Thank You.

Fast Eddie Leuter always keeps the crowd entertained, and we are lucky to have him. Thanks Eddie.

A special thanks go to the Sea Cadets, led by our own Dave Brown.Besides the incredible opening ceremony presentation, they are invaluable to us in so many administration details, and we are grateful, and very proud of these fine young ladies and gentlemen.Thank you.

Last but not least,we would like to thank all of the pilots, their friends and family, for coming to share some time with us.We truly hope you felt welcome and relaxed. That is what we strive for.Thank you.Stay well, and we hope to see you all in October.God bless,

Erik and the Farview crew

A great big THANK YOU from the Boston crew. dominic, Bob, John and I want to thank you for a great time. It was a sad event that brought us together at Farview this past weekend, but it was nice spending time with friends. A real big pat on the back goes to the Sea Scouts, What a nice, classy way to open each day. See you guys on October...

What more can be said?! My heartfelt thanks to Erik, Lee, Bob, Jimmy, the Daves, the many members of the Farview Flyers, sponsors, and vendors, but most importantly, the pilots, that supported the Great American Jet Rally. The kind words of encouragement, and telling of memories of Cindy, confirmed to me that my jet family is the best! It was such a blessing to me to spend the weekend with you!

And a special thank you to Dave Malchione (the elder) for narrowly averting an international incident!

Yes it rained Saturday but some folks never quit!

"Nothin' keeps Brian from Flyin'"

In spite of the Saturday rain he still burned a little over 20 Gallons of fuel!

Bob

Rich (RCISFUN)

Bob, Brian may have flown more but Dominic is still faster. Why else would Brian spend so much time trying to catch him?

I want to thank Rich (RCISFUN) for posting the photos of my Panther, it looks very nice. Also I want to thank geh3 for the video work of the take off and flyby and the landing of my Panther. I hope everyone enjoyed it. If you do a search for Ziroli Panther Rebuild here on RCU, you will see what I had to go through to get it where it is right now. If anyone took some shots of it flying, please post them here. Again, thanks .....

Well said Mike! It's always a pleasure having our extended family coming to play with us! And just think, we get to do it twice this year!

And Mike, I enjoyed spotting for you, as always. Please call on me any time!

And to everyone else, thank you. As Erik said, we are humbled by you all every time you come. And this time was more special than ever!

Brian, Dom and Bob, the troopers will be waiting at the PA border. No Popcorn Balls, no entry ! Just kidding, all we want is to see you in October.

Jim

Need your help............................

On Saturday I had my Powermax propane bottle on the flightline in the start up area, I went out for another flight and it was gone.

It was next to the red fence near the opening with my fire extinghuser. Fire extinghuser was still there but my trigger valve and the bottle were not.

I was hoping someone picked it up thinking it was theirs and when got home found they had an extra. tTrigger valve, with a short piece of tubing to a Y festo fitting, one side led to a small white bottle and the other side of the Y went to a Festo fitting I used to connect to the propane line in my Boomer XL.

I am posting a big reward if found............................ok it's just a breakfast sandwich at Octobers jet rally @ Hamburg.

Trigger valves are hard to come by and I have many bottles of Powermax left............

Thanks for your help

Mark
