The Farview R/C Flyers will be having their fifth annual 2011 Hamburg Jet Jam on October 6th through 9th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Our club would again like to extend a fantastic opportunity for you to join with us in flying radio controlled jet aircraft at the Grim Airpark in beautiful Hamburg Pennsylvania.

Just minutes off of Routes 78 and 222, our Airpark which is located at 375 Farview Road, Hamburg Pa 19526, has one of the country’s premier venues for flying turbine powered aircraft. Our flying field features an impressive 200' by 1400' rolled grass runway as well as several thousand feet of flyover zones. Food and beverage will be available throughout the event.

This jet event operates on 2.4 Ghz only and our landing fee is $30 for all four days, including one free crew pass. On site camping is available (no hookups) for $20 and the field is located close to many local hotels. All turbine, electric and piston powered jet aircraft are welcome on our grass field!!

Thanks for attending our Great American Jet Rally just a few weeks ago. Glad to hear that you guys are coming down again in October. Hopefully, Big Bri' and Dominic will be making the trip to Hamburg too!

Speaking of hotels, I'll get a list together today and post the list ASAP!

Hey Reggie,

I can't wait for October either! I had a great time with you guys this weekend, great guys, good weather, great fun!

And hanks for the complement, you were looking pretty smooth yourself! As always!

The best thing about getting in to jets is the friends that I've made over the past few years. The prop guys look at us like we are elitists but what it really is is that we are the most friendy, tight knit group of RCers on the planet! Especially the guys at Farview!!!
