Turboprop airframe
I'm trying to find all the available turboprop airframes but they do seem to be very thin on the ground. First one that comes to mind is the comp-arf Tucano but are there any others available? I have seen maybe one or two converted big gas powered models but I assume there would be a fair bit of work involved in a conversion?

How about the Pilatus PC-21 from HT Modellbau for fiberglass kits? There are built up versions of this plane as well, Aerobel in Switzerland is one (gas powered but may be converted to turboprop)

RE: Turboprop airframe
Hi Rob.
I am a big Turbo prop fan myself, and am setting up two more for next season... I somehow ended up without one this season
One of those that I am going for is the new C-arf Sia Marchetti. Although better known as a piston powered aircraft, there is in fact a TP version made in real life. I wasn't actually aware of that, till I saw the prototype fly at Joe Nall earlier in the year. I went straight to the boss of Carf and told him that I needed one of those in my life and I must drop a Turboprop into it. Thats when he told me that Carf would be developing a special version of the kit with the modified cowling and spinner. I guess we will see more of it this weekend at Jet Power! I have two customers that are just on the point of pulling the trigger on an order for these, and I am betting we will see a few around as its such a versatile plane.
Regards Al

Yes, I have looked at the Marchetti it's one of my options and of course quality is guaranteed.
I must admit the Turbo Porter does appeal as something different and if it is anything like the fullsize the short field performance should be interesting.
Shame I can't make JP this year, there's nothing like seeing stuff in the flesh, seeing them fly and talking to the manufacturers themselves. Unfortunately I'm in Saudi for a couple of weeks teaching RSAF Typhoon engine changes/runs. [&o]
The search continues.......
