I am sorry to say I will miss this event. I always miss it. If it's not one thing its another, and I always try to make this one a priority. I even cleared my schedule but this time yet again events have conspired against it!!! However I might have the opportunity to drive out to fly on Wednesday, before the event is officially "on". Do any jet guys fly mid week? Anyone planning to warm up before the actual event? I'd love to visit the new field, you guys have really made a nice facility.

I'm sure ..somebody....will be out there tuning up thier jets during the week...
suggest thursday and friday..as a storm is coming in mon -weds.....check the weather.
I know mostly everybody on this coast is down there at best of the west.....
they should just leave there...... and come directly up here.

i so far am planning of being there. Same thing for me, had to cancel my trip to BITW beacause of truck problems. Looking forward to seeing the woodland crew.[8D]

Doesn't look like we are going to make it to the event this year. We will be down in November for a visit and will find the field then and then we will know where to go for next years event. If anyone talks to Leron, tell him I talked to Chuck from Camano Island at the Jets Over Whidbey event. Hope the weather holds and you have a great event this year. See you all next year.

Just confirmed that I will not have to work on Saturday. So I will be out for the weekend. I have the F-16 back in the air and should have the Ol Falcon there as well. Weather looks to be nice in the upper 70's with light winds. Should make for a great weekend.
