P80se is out of date but runs great. Old technoloty.
P100 has been out for a week or two. New technology.

P100 will be much easier to mount in the sprint.

For my money the P100... I've only got experience on the P60se, but:

1) newer technology in the P100
2) smaller components and less weight for a little more thrust, and more install options
3) only one input fuel line, and only kero start;-) ie, simpler

Now, if money is the issue, and you save lots of $$$ then by all means the p80. I would only do that if I was going to save like 500.00 or more on a p80 vs a p100
my .02

I fly a p-80SE in my Sprint. Flies awesome. fits perfectly. great spool uptime and a real deal for the money. proven near bulle t proof design...but getting a bit outdated (reflected by lower price than other type engines. P-100 great promise...but you will be beta testing it for jetcat...time will tell if it is a winner....IMHO P-80 wpould be my choice!

One pound lighter, simpler set up by far. Better re-sale, big coolness factor. The jets are simple engines, with incredible fine refinements. The new computer software which brought this much improved high speed flow efficiency about is way ahead of its predecessors. There will be more small refinements , but this is a big jump. The price isnt much more, and if you must, wait a month just to see. But only do the older engine if its a gift, or near give away price. Havnt heard any regrets yet on everything describing the P100RX. I hope mine comes in next week.
