Default A jet from Nitroplanes with 360° vectoring? Really??

I just got this in an email from Nitroplanes … a jet with 360° thrust? Really??

New Exceed RC 6CH 90mm F-18 Jolly Roger Jet Kit + 360 Thrust Vector

http://www.nitroplanes.com/69a918-90...-grey-kit.html

Vectoring thrust of 360°?? I guess something got lost in translation…

Here's a picture of the vectoring nozzles. They don't appear to be able to rotate 360°

Again, something was lost in translation ...

you surprise me, with all the posts you've made seaming to know just about everything about everything, why is it you can't see they do in fact rotate 360º, all dual axial nozzles do.

He's thinking 360 on a horizontal plane.

Airplanes400 imagine you taped a pen to one of those nozzles and backed it up to a sheet of paper. If you moved the control stick around then the nozzle would draw a 360° circle.

Sure they rotate 360'
Just think of an exotic dancer with tassles on.
The trick is to get them to rotate in opposite directions

Yes, exactly so. I'm referring to 360° on a single plane. That's why I find fault with their description. They should have clarified the vector thrust by deflection angle.

Any deflection angle, when rotated, would create a circle. But it's the amount of deflection that really counts.

No, it's guys like you who really seem to knit-pick and think you know everything about everything. You don't surprize me. I've learned to expect that people cannot see what is before them. I could knit-pick too and argue a point that a single "." rotates 360° by stating that a pencil or pen was put on a piece of paper and then spun 360° to create the period. Thereby, proving my statement. Ridiculous and knit-picky? Yes, but the statement would be true.

Anyway they should use 1 channel or 2 channel thrust vectoring.
Or they can use weird codes like in heli's CCPM.

You should buy the foamy "Turboprop PC-21" BNF from Hobby-lobby, then start a rant when you recive it with an electric motor not a turboprop as adverticed... much more money haveing them to buy you a turboprop then have NP make you a single plane 360degree swiveling nozzle :-)
