Default AFTER Hours Flying lights T28?

I'm putting together a Park Zone T 28 to fly at night when the event is over. At Kentucky Jets their were a number of good set ups. Looking for the best way to do the lights . Plan on using the led strips. I'm looking for recommendations on location and color. Pictures would be great. Thanks Dan Avilla

Dan,

I have done this to 4 T-28's. I use traditional lighting in the sense that I have a red, green red and white beacons. With a red and green in each tip A white flashing at the top of the tail and a red flashing on the belly I have NEVER been disoriented in flight. We also run a "landing light" in the cowl facing forward.

Simple system to install. The hardest one is the white at the top of the tail....I use a hot music wire to make a tunnel for the wires up the tail....

Here is a picture of mine....

The best T28 I have seen is when you put the white lights inside facing into the foam. It makes the entire foam fuselage glow and looks pretty cool. Flying at night is surpisingly easy and fun.

Here is a pic of my Habu.

At Seff last year thier was at least 40 planes in the air everynight. They would fly until 3 and 4 AM.

I bought my T-28 lights from Chad at Sin City Jets (same set that Dave has). They work great!

Here's a link to buy them: http://sincityjets.com/store-accessories.htm
