Default Boomerang XL2 or Torus Which one is best

Im trying to decide which one to get Going to use a JC cheetah at 31 lbs. any and all info would be great to help me make my decission Thanks

either choice will be just fine for that size turbine. I have the XL and a friend of mine has the Torus. Both fly great. The new Torus has a few more upgrades then the XL, such as the Torus has a one piece fuse and center section, two large wing tubes and more air getting to the turbine. The Torus is beefier and can handle larger turbines. But for a 31# turbine, either choice will give you hours of great flying.

my XLII glides dead stick much better then the Torus in this video

LOL, i guess it would, towards the end of the flight, the broken fuel line shown it's face, but with very minor damage on that landing........

When I bought my Torus, I could have bought the XLII for a couple of hundred bucks less. IMO the Torus is worth the extra $ with the upgrades it comes with and is a better overall jet. I've looked at lots of the XL's guys are flying locally and just felt the Torus was better built and stronger.
