Yesterday the Hawk had its new first flight, and everything was perfect.
it still needs work done on the inside and needs weathering with the airbrush to finish the look.
heres a small video of one of the flihgts and some pictures.

RE: Skymaster Large HAWK 100 RSAF - Scale Detailing
well, time for more work
I think this cool wellflying hawk really needs some pimpin'
So i started over on the inside of the airplane to make it better look better...
i made the scale hatch on the side of the fuse so i can fuel pump and charge the airplane without taking out the cockpit and damaging it
then i made a carbonfiber plate for the insife to mount gear on and under, and the same thing for the turbine area.
the whole plane has been painted matte black inside, and it looks alot better in reallity then on the pictures.
the next update will include a cool pneumatics upgrade

thanks for all your replies and questions
new stuff done. new way of securing the wings, easy removal of the rails and missiles. nice brakeline tubing on the gear made of 2mm alu tube.
nice pneumatics install, and reciever and ECU install.
custom made vinyl gfx for the hawk, to give the inside a little xtra.

WOWOWO okay now is it just me or is that the most smooth flying jet ever? I dont know could just be some video thing but that jet just seems to float and glide through everything. I have to ask since im super anal with gear setup how did u achieve the airline layout? It looks like aluminum tubing thats bent instead of air line!

Carsten, thanks for posting the links to the lights. I was originally planning to go with the D4S lights, but the lights you posted seem a lot brighter.

RE: Skymaster Large HAWK 100 RSAF - Scale Detailing
well ive seen a couple of hawk fly like ****.
basicly the hawk is a bad performing airplane, all the fences and fins show that clearly... - in fullscale.
just take a look at the old skymaster hawk, it couldent really fly...

RE: Skymaster Large HAWK 100 RSAF - Scale Detailing
hey again.
I made a new plate for covering the turbine gear, because i had made a brainfart when setting the terminalport a place were i would need to get rid of af cockpit and the top of the fuse to get there... so new one and moved the terminal to the cockpit instead
then i made some pimpin for that plate also, drawing the jetcat logo and adding the engine size also - starwars font rox...

RE: Skymaster Large HAWK 100 RSAF - Scale Detailing
[>:]Another update.
The plane is now completely finnished
Did a test start of the turbine in the livingroom - its quite an amplifier of the noiselevel...
The internals, im very sattisfied with it.
I have installed a new type of hinged for the canopy, and now it really moves nicely! - I will post a video with the entire plane when flying it the 10 of march -if the weather perform well.
The plane got the last weathering, all done by airbrush.
I will let the pictures talk.

Hello Kasper
Great build! I apologize I am coming into this build a little late but what is your source for your canopy hinges? Thank you in advance.
