Sorry, have been at the Long Marston show since Friday. No Menu has been sent out yet as i am still trying to get the Menu from them, he sent me a reply referring to attachments . . . . but nothing was attached! The Landlord has said that the details of the specials Menu which is most popular are available on the day only. If i do not get any joy after i call later, i will just drive down there and get a menu.
I have been asked about camping sites, i know a few of the people attending are staying here this weekend http://www.thorneylakes.co.uk/ This site is 10 miles away from Merryfield.

I'm planning to go down to Merryfield tomorrow and check out the Workshop as well as tie up any loose ends regarding the list of entrants. I'll post my findings here once I know the size of the space we'll be able to use for overnight storage.

Hi Fellas
Just been down to Merryfield to chat with the OIC. He has the list of names. Be aware that it is a military establishment - if your name's not on the list, you're not getting onto the airfield, so don't just pitch up and try it on. Regarding overnight storage, i had a look at the workshops - two rooms about 3 x 4 m, maybe slightly larger, and one larger room filled with chairs - can be moved to make space. Probably enough space for 10 - 15 models. I will have the keys - rooms will be locked overnight, inside a razor wire fenced compound (also locked) inside the perimeter fence of the airfield, so pretty secure. Models will be left at the owners risk, but I reckon this is more secure than in a van in the car park of a travel lodge!
See you on Saturday/Sunday or both! [8D]

So you bringing your sewing kit to Merryfield Cock?
I've got some buttons that need sewing on and while you are at it can you repair a hole in my sock?
