Why the sudden interest in these old jets. Mind you it does look a nice airframe

That looks like a very old picture judging by the things on the rack behind and under the counter. Unless that turbine is a very new Jetcat

Deno. Thats a JPX not a jet cat. It was the intended power choice for this very jet. Its all about nostalgia I guess. A bunch of 30 and 40 somethings wanting the toys they couldn't have when they were kids

Looks like a modified version.
Some fuselages had a little airscoop just in front of the vertical stabilizer and the wingtips are slightly different.

To me the best airframe for high speed if it would have a symmetrical airfoil like a NACA 65009 or something similar in a non-delta configuration.

I think for a lot of people it's because today's current jets are getting boring. All the chinese manufactures are making the same airplanes, and there is squat out there for sport jets at all, and even less out there for sport jets in a small package. What is available for smaller sport jets are either Bandit's which are expensive, or Boomerangs and Reactions which aren't exactly sizzling performance airplanes. Airplanes like the Starjet, Exocet, Viper, Aggressor, Starfire (which is still available) Raptor, etc are needed again I think. There was a lot of interest stirred up in the FEJ small Liberty, unfortunately they screwed the design up and ended up building a lead sled, there recently has been a lot of interest in the Modellbau Hurricane although whether it ever comes to the RC market is up in the air now.

I wish that these kits were still available. In the high performance sport jet world today your choices are limited, for myself personally, I have little interest in owning the same Flash or Lightning as everyone else has and have even less interest in paying the prices for a Bandit ARF. Truthfully, I have very little interest in buying ARF's at all. I never owned a Starjet, but I had a couple Exocet's and those were great airplanes!

A guy who lives neas Maasricht /NL does a kit for a god price.
The prolem is the elevator. IĀ“ve seen one of his planes getting elevator fluttering during a dive (approx. 400 Km/h) and crashed at Helcheteren airfiled in 2009 or 2010(donĀ“t remember exactly).

And I donĀ“t have his adress. But he is in contcat with the pulso teams in the Netherlands.

Geoff... Its just that great minds think alike

So great, that it took me a while to suss out what Birdy was on about. [&:] More porn required Mr Bird if thats what you think large breasts look like!

Phil.. Why didn't you run the Burger King idea past me before hand. I think that would have been superb!
