Now there is a travel itinerary for the masses….sure hope my schedule will permit attending the DOGS.
Jim is not only our Chief Judge for the JWM-Q 2012 but also the DOGS, JWM-Q & R66 Travel Agent
Maj. Woody, you coming for the East also, so get your schedule filled, the plan is easy, start Labor Day weekend at DOGS in Dayton, stop by Muncie for Museum visit Monday, then on out to Litchfield for IJMC qualifier, then stay for Route 66 Jets, now that's what we call a week of jet modeling.

The Litchfield, Illinois Municipal Airport Authority has again invited us to use their wonderful facilities for our enjoyment and the public’s entertainment. Between St Louis 60 miles, Chicago 250 miles. Indianapolis 210, Kansas City 300.
The facility is within 2 miles of a major interchange (I-55), accommodations a stones throw, Runway 18-36 (4003'X75') closed for General Aviation, unlimited air space, Jet A on site, hanger storage, contiguous to the Mother Road, etc. etc. Our main contact is Jim Wright who is probably the most cooperative and tireless individual you could imagine. All the Local Officials have no problems just solutions…. Amazing just Amazing ! ! !

The Route 66 RC Club(AMA#4799)Membership Cards have been printed and mailed to all
71 Members.Membership is available to all participants.Membership is discontinued if you have been absent for 2 consecutive years.
This facility is rather unique because it has two nonintersecting runways one of them being, with FAA approval, closed to general aviation for the duration of the event. The only thing that prevents you from flying every day and all day is yourself and Mother Nature as the North/South Runway & Air Space is ours for the four days. There are no planned interruptions to you flying when you want and as often as you like!
HI FOLKS,
WE HAVEE-MAILED PRE-REGISTRATION FORMS TO ALL OF THE 71 ROUTE 66 CLUB MEMBERS.
IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A REGISTRATION FORM PLEASE PRINT & COMPLETE THIS ATTACHMENT AND RETURN.
EVEN THOUGH ALL IS FREE YOUR PROMPT RESPONSE WOULD BE APPRECIATED SO WE CAN GET A HEAD COUNT.
THANKS AND SEE YOU ALL SOON, ROGER
