New!!! UMX MiG 15 from E-flite
Hey guys. Just wanted to give you a heads up on what E-flite has been working on. For two years I have been in silence and it has been driving me nuts! Finally I get to show you guys! This design focuses many engineering achievements and performance advancements. We started from a blank slate taking the knowledge of many experienced modelers. The goal: give the consumers a jet that not only performs like a jet but also looks like its full scale counterpart. The components have been designed from ground up in house. The MiG 15 performs just like its larger brothers with an amazing speed envelope and handling of a sport model. The fan unit is 28mm in diameter and produces great power without requiring the need for huge intakes and exhaust or even worse, cheater holes. It was very important to us that our first UMX jet was well rounded. It had to perform like a jet and look great from all angles. To cap it off we added AS3X which takes it to a whole other level in the performance envelope. We took our time and I feel like you won’t be disappointed. Stay tuned….. More to come shortly.

And in the short video they did the clasic horizon hobby trick of showing a close pass wipping past you to give a sense of speed more than she is doing. I still like the little thing though

I know there are many EDF foamies on the market but not that many are Ultra Micro and only one using AS3X which make this ultra micro feel like a big jet!

D Payne: Since the questions was kind of asked... do you guys have any new fiberglass 90mm to 100mm sized jets? I'd Like a Habu that I can put a wren 44 in. Also... it looks like that there will be a new small turbine from Jet Munt this spring. (Merlin 35) 90mm EDF jets work great for the "44" and smaller turbines.
