Digitech Prolinx brakes locking!!
i have two sets of prolinx retract/brakes fitted on 2 separate planes using Jet Tronics valves for brakes. Although valves are set to work proportional, as soon as just a little pressure goes throught the system, the wheels are locking.
How can i remedy to this problem and avoid potential damages due to wheel locking/
Thanks, Regards,

If these are Digitech Prolinx brakes they do not have O rings they are a disc brake, I would say the Jetronic valves are not set up properly, when you apply brakes do the valves pulse or just go straight to green, they should pulse.
If they do not pulse they need resetting, hold down both buttons on the unit and power up that should set them back to the manufactures settings and should pulse when operating them, let us know how you get on.

Mike,
Jet tronics valves are indeed pulsing confirming that i am in proportional mode. BTW, those are the single action valves (not the low loss brake valves), but anyway according to manufacturer they should produce proportional braking.

If they are pulsing and not producing proportional braking then I can only think that you have the pipes on the wrong nipples possibly, only thing I can think of now, I have both the low loss and the singles and they both work proportionally.

RE: Digitech Prolinx brakes locking!!
Mick,
I don't have them right now in front of me, but if i am not mistaken, port 1 is the inlet (air in) port 2, the output (air out to brakes) and port 3 is the outlet.
During various tests, have also fitted a reducer on port 3 (outlet) but the only result i got was a delay in releasing brakes...
Could it be that pressure is too high. i was starting at 120 psi but duing the proportional braking pressure goes down rather quickly...

I also don't have them in front of me at the moment, but I only use about 100psi and I get about 5 cycles before I loose enough pressure to not have brakes, try tightening the hubs a bit so the bladder inside the brake does not expand so much, just a thought.
