Youre gonna have a BLAST matt! And congrats on getting your waiver buddy. I hear things went really well at RAMS on Saturday. If you fly jets as well as you do everything else, youre goona be a helluva jet pilot!

WOW!!!! Pasco really IS coming this year!!!!!!! I see he's been working on his tan.

on the subject of turbine waivers, will you be set up for pilots wishing to obtain their waiver and what would be the best time?
I'm really looking forward to your event this year after missing last years due to work constraints. Everyone tells me you run a first class operation.

Hey Larry,
A quick question my friend; I know about the great restaurants in the area, but will there be any food vendors at the airport during the event? We're packing a lot, but if we can leave the grill at home and sample the local fare for lunch daily that would be great!

Yep, there will be food vendors on site like last year. So now you have more room to pack extra airplanes since you can leave out the grill and fixin's!

Bob,
It's usually not too appropriate to do waiver checkouts at big events due to the busy nature of everything. But I'm sure we can squeeze in a flight or two amidst all the action. The best time would be early in the weekend before all the real action starts. And also at a time of day when the flightline is least active.
I don't think the waiver is official until the AMA receives the paperwork and signs off on it so you couldn't fly "at will" (and solo) during the event after the checkout.

Just found out today that I may have to miss the event due to work scheduling conflicts. Hope we can work it out because I have cancelled going to Kentucky Jet sand now they are adding more work to my group.
