JMAIreland Jet Meet 31st Mar/1st April
The First Jet Modellers Association of Ireland Jet Meet for 2012 was a fantastic weekend with nearlly 100 jet flights logged.
Andreas had spent a lot of time on the site and had it in fantastic shape with the grass cut like a golf course with his tripple bogey gang mower.
The grass runway is 240M and Andreas has now also dropped the fence on the SW approach which means you can come in low and touch down at the beginning of the runway leaving a good run to the end for those faster touch downs
The Weather was near perfect all weekend with the light wind on the strip and the sun behind us, ideal really.
Some pics of the aircraft flown, full event report will be up soon on the www.jmaireland.com website and some videos when we get them on the JMAIRELAND youtube channel.

Thanks Martin
We have been very lucky at the four Jet meets we have had at Andreas's field, the weather has always been good, I think he has a direct line to the weather gods.

thanks for the hospitality as usual Andy.....great time was had by all and the weather for once was kind.
Never have been in a bar that ran out of drink before so that was a first .!
I think the good turn out said it all ,certainly jet flying in Ireland is now more popular, thanks to the hard work from Seamus and Andy...
I loved those low passes from Peter on the L39 , Harry had a pocket of pins and only managed to use two of them,[X(]
big Cecil should take up golf he raised quite a few devits while landing [8D]
one clown even managed to take out the wind sock

You are welcome Robert
I had lot of comments from all the spectators and some of my neighbours about the superb display you gave with the ex-Bishop AW hawk
it was a real treat for every one
D W is going to be disappointed with Harry that he wont be on to him for some more pins for his Flash
Peter sure gave that L39 some stick
big Cecil had a great week-end all went well for him
cheers
