It was my first CJ, and what a great day it was.
Many thanks to Dick and all involved in running the event.
I was having a great time, until my Wren decided it wanted to try and burn my Eurosport to a crisp!

Great photos, although can't help noticing not one of my Eurosport!

Guess it isn't as photogenic as that Turbinator or boomerangs!!!!!!!

Video is now done. It has music to it, but the first track does contain some naughty language, but does some how fit really well!!. Turn the sound down if you are easily offended

Thanks

As mentioned earlier in this thread, I was kindly gifted a Ready to Fly foam Venom at CJ #50...a brilliant little model!

I was looking fwd to assembling this little model but got gazumped tonight by Animal Leighton and Geoff White who happened to drop in for dinner and insisted upon assembling the model for me. Disappointed though I was at having the task stolen away, I realised that it was only polite to let them carry on...after all, as The captain would say, one really should have a man to do this kind of thing anyway!

Chaps, thanks...the banter was brilliant (not sure you two should go into the building business together on a serious basis!), and the model is brill! I did take a few pics...

Cheers,

Dick

'Disappointed though I was at having the task stolen away' - Yeah right Spreadbury. You kept the disappointment well hidden.

We had to build it for you because if it was left to you, the foam would have degraded before you finished it.

Brilliant, Thanks Dave,

I can not imagine if these three DH Vampires are in the formation flight.

Congratulation,

Jack, Director of DerJet Model, Taiwan

Slightly harsh Geoff; in actual fact i was trying to do you a favour by letting you practice on mine so you'd be up to speed when you did yours. There's just no helping some people!!

Cheers,

Dick

Welcome to the Dark Side!

Your persistence and selection of model won in the end mate (your Attacker really is the nuts)...you just need to work on The Captain now...be a hard nut to crack

Radio set up, I'm 100% on travels, 20% Aileron Expo, 10% Elevator Expo (if there is anymore travel available you can go +10% on elevator D/R up direction). No elevator needed with TO or Landing flap.
Its also worth checking the nose wheel tracking (easily trimed using a phillips screwdriver through nose gear opening)

Enjoy...its a great model.

Thanks Dave. Will set it up exactly as per...I have this week off work but every day is filled and next weekend is family duty time (another christening - Doncaster this time), so am looking at the following weekend to fly it.

Many thanks for that Loz, superb photo. Although, looking at the fingerprints on the paintwork, I think it needs polishing!
