This Jet flies a lot with that giant wing that he has, should be very easy to ride him.

If you bleed air speed and gentle put it on the ground it will not bounce

Hi Tim

How about the first flight?

I am talking to Martin Little reference the purchase of a F9F.Just trying to make up my mind with regards to colour scheme.......

Mind you not sure if it's worth getting a new model, it's not stoped raining for at leasr 40 days and 40 nignts, or it seems that way..............

regards
ken

I wonder why this build thread also never got finished. I also recall old Dunker commenting that he was looking forward to this build in a post early on. That post is removed now. I wonder if he was embarrassed at making that comment and then later banning the OP of the build thread

Hi Tim,
Read all your thread and was very good. Nice test flight. I can not beleive they can figure out that nose gear steering will not work.
I would like to know where you found the brackets to mount your servos. Looked everywhere no find, did they come with kit. My A/c is on the way.
Thanks

I am looking for the best cg location and whether you guys are using the speed brakes and full body flaps along with the wing flaps to land.

Vin,

I'm not sure about the FB, but with my 110% Ziroli Panther (which is about the same size), I land with full flaps and body flaps - no speed brakes.

The speed brakes are not needed for extra drag on this airframe and on the full scale, they were "dive brakes" and not used on approach. I do extend them though, along with the wing and body flaps during my "dirty pass" (mine is in Blue Angles colors...)

I hope you have more luck than my mate, his fei bao wing gave out on his fith flight today while initiating a standard turn. Model a right off! His not a happy bunny and I doubt he will purchase another Fei Bao! 😖
