RE: FLY EAGLE JET models 2012
K180 to P200 size thrust was what I was told.
Hey James,
Just curious, what size powerplant is needed to get good performance from the large (1/4.5) F-16? Also, would you be so kind as to send me a PM regarding the price? Finally, what progress if any has been made on the Yak 130?

RE: FLY EAGLE JET models 2012
hi Jackson:
It would be 18-20 kg thrust for this F16 1/4.6 scale. K-180 can do the job, JetCat new p180 is good one too, but Behotec 180 gold edition (20kg) engine is more power and have more fun.
Yak130 is under developing now. I will keep you update.
Here is another new color scheme for F16 1/4.6 scale.
Thanks
James

RE: FLY EAGLE JET models 2012
Here is one video that I got from Hamburg Jet. Not a complete video. I was there talking to someone and saw a Hawk was flying. So I took the video. After landing, I approached to the Hawk and saw it is honeycomb and realized it is our Hawk.
Sorry I counldn't recall his name, a good pilot.

James, the pilot flying the hawk is Matt Balasz. Hope I spelled is last name correctly. It was after I saw his jet I knew I wanted one too. Doane.

RE: FLY EAGLE JET models 2012
I just got my first Fly Eagle Jet. I got the single version and it looks INCREDIBLE. I have to admit, I fall in love with it, just looking at it.
And now for the straight talk.
How is Fly Eagle gear holding up? I've only seen Fly Eagle Jet stuff have gear go up, doors close, fly around and then doors open, gear drop and then land successfully on videos. I've yet to see a total successful Fly Eagle flight in person, yet.
I'm thinking about sending my gear to "down and locked" or whom ever can make them reliable.
And I'm glad to say I'm seeing them fly around, at least, doing the circuit, in videos. And I think having that "lowest knife edge to landing" bit with Lowell's 14 (with Billy flying, who is a GREAT pilot) should probably be removed from those videos. It is apparent that the tip stalling issues have been worked out with all the other landings on there.
Anyone flying the single? How about any tendencies of tucking in the turns with wings in or out?
What are you guys seeing?
Thanks!
