Default What FASST recievers will a Futaba 12FG work with?

I posted here because jet flyers are more likely to use higher end radios such as the 12FG.

What FASST recievers work with the 12FG (2.4 Ghz)? I know on the 10C you can operate
the transmitter in '7 channel' or '10 channel' mode to accomodate the smaller recievers but
didn't notice this feature on the 12FG in the instructions I downloaded.

Of course it will work with the supplied 14 channel reciever but what about the R617 FS and
the R6008 HS? I use these smaller recievers in my prop driven jobbies & Habu. - John.

John

Yes the 12FG will operate the 7 channel Rx. You move the curser until it is on FASST MULT and press the push button. This gives a screen where you have System and it is set to FASST MULT. If you press on that you get the option 7 channel or FASST MULT.

The 12fg will work with all FASST 'air' receivers. http://futabarc.com/receivers/air.html

I have used my 12FG with 617's 6008's 6014's and event some Orange from HK (not on a jet - just a foamy).

Just use the set-up screen and go.

Thanks guys, I thought that surely must be the case but for some reason the two 12 channel
radios (12FG, 12Z) don't appear on the compatability charts. When it arrives I'll have a fiddle.

I'm a 'one transmitter flys all' sort of guy & didn't want to buy a 'little' radio for little models. - John.

No problem on the smaller RX's John. I've had mine for nearly 2 years and I love it!

The 12fg and 12z use the TM14 module. Check for this on the compatability chart.
