Default Airworld Hawker Hunter, anybody got one?

Hey All,

Am toying with idea of buying an Airworld Hunter kit and building it (despite some of my friends' advice to the contrary)

Anybody have a complete kit lying around for sale? I know Gotz Vogelsang Distributes them and I have already emailed him. Just
Poking around to see if there is one available at less than retail.

Thanks!
Shaz

I have seen the Ripmax one up close and it is very impressive especially for the money.

Thanks Jester, the Ripmax does look nice, but it is too small. I think it is only rated for P80-P140/160 (at most) size turbines right?

Hi Shaz,

Jorge Escalona had one of the Airworld Hunters at the First in Flight jet rally last weekend. You can often find Jorge here (Jorge*jet is is ID) ... I am sure he'd give you his view of the plane. I always liked the Hunter, it has beautiful lines.

Hi Shaz
Highly recommend the Hunter. Just like any other Airworld kit, instructions are simply photos and there is a bit of work and ingenuity to get it done. Miguel, my builder, and I came up with many mods. You can find these in an article in the latest RCJI magazine. It is not a speed demon but it is graceful and very scale like in the sky. I do all of the Top Gun maneuvers w ease powered by one of the new JetCat P180 rx. Götz is an easy and knowledgable guy to deal with. Geoff White gas some flying videos in You Tube. He was also very helpful during my build. Hope this helps.

In case you need any inspiration, this is one of the vids Jorge is referring to -

If you are thinking of getting one then I would say definately do it as it flies superbly, has brilliant presence in the air.

If you do actually decide to go with one of these Shaz. I have a complete set of gear and drop tanks.

It's a really nice plane! Here is a link to pictures of mine. Maiden will be at JetPower Fyresdal (Norway) next week.

My experience with Airworld is superb - you just need to put the time into it and build [8D]

Thanks Robert,

I also have the Airworld Hawk and just sold my Airworld Panther. Reason for selling the Panther was that I don't have the space for all my models. It flies superb - not that much build and in the air it looks very realistic. I will try to attach som pictures.

Here is a link to a recorded flight. Panther starts at 02:55
