Yes that is correct, but Monty Python’s version was much better (“Dennis Moore”)!
I think the "Dennis Plums" adaptation, has all the makings of a modern classic!

RE: The New Modellbau USA F-16
Well I just left Florida a week ago and visited Henry at his shop. I posted a picture of the finished product F16 in the Tornado forum. They planes look awesome and very good quality but from what Henry said he is still debating mass production for the states. He mentioned that there are about 15 kits out there in South America. He said that there is one in Brazil and Colombia and the rest are in chile and I think he said he has sold one to a friend of his in Honduras.
He told me that the biggest reason he is not making it is because of the production cost. The plane will have to retail for $850 and he does not like the pricing structure. He said that he needs to sell large quantities to make it worth while and for that price it is not going to happen. Well I see his point of view but I really want one lol. He has 8 kits in his shop and does not want to sell them but maybe he will change his mind because both schemes look great.

I agree the plane looks awesome and flies great. I have one from the first ones that came off the assembly line. Henry is a very good friend and gave me one to test. It is a carbon copy of the Cermark but built much stronger and 2 lb heavier I flew mine with a rabbit 100. What David said is true he is not sure that they will be out in the states becuase of the price. I don't agree with him but I am not his accountant. But they are very very nice.

I just wish he would make up his mind whether he is going to produce them. It would be nice to know seeing as their are probably a lot of people waiting to see how this F16 turns out...if it turns out at all. I would love to have one and I told Henry I would buy one of his kits if he is willing to sell. No response. Even at 850 it still sounds like a good price if the quality is there.

That's a shame I think it would sell pretty well but I understand the pricing issue. At that cost a lot of people would probably just go up to the Jetlegend 1/8 F-16.

Maybe Modellbeau could take a lesson from HK. Make a penny of each one..but sell a Million of them!
If you price it low enough..You wont be able to keep up with the orders. Heck! I dont even need this plane...but I was going to buy it anyways because the price was so attractive.
Darn shame.

Incredible. Start a thread on a non-existent product and it can reach 100+ posts. I read 5 pages of this stuff to finally find out there's no airplane and there probably won't be? If others' remarks regarding previously hyped airplanes that never materialized are true, then there's a credibility issue shaping up here.
Not trying to be a hater, and I truly wish modelbau the best...but goodness, seems like it would be a better business practice to not hype a new jet (including an obviously unrealistic price, as it turns out) until you KNOW it's coming. This reflects poorly on the brand's credibility, IMO.

Perhaps the Moderator would be kind enough to put a post at the beging to the effect that this model will not be available, at least that would stop someone else reading over 100 posts for nothing.

Biggest issue as far as I am aware is whether it will sell for the price required to make it economically worthwhile.
Must add I know as much as you guys.
