Default Fly Eagle F-14 1/7.5 and F-15E 1/7 scale build thread

Hey everyone I decided to do one thread for both of jets. These two builds may take some time due to possible future circumstances but I will due as much as I can.

Most have seen the F-15 but not the F-14 so here we go, hand onto your hats! Oh and yes you may notice some removed/added things to the paint schemes. This is on purpose and part of my movie theme idea!
Both are custom paint jobs from FEJ which I love being able to do, gives you a one of kind feel.

I am going to install wing tanks and ordinance during the build on both so that way I am not having to go back and do it after the fact so it should be fun builds and lots of things to figure out.

Some specs I know as of now on items to be used are:
Robbe SBus system with futaba SBus servos and dual receivers. http://shop.rc-electronic.com/e-vend...&c=1786&p=1786
Kingtech Turbines, I have decided on twin 180s, because of full ordinance on the F-15 and F-14 http://www.kingtechturbines.com/store/
I will be making my own UATs
Gear on both will be electric( either FEJs when they design them or Down and Locked), gear doors/canopy/speed brakes/brakes will be air http://www.downandlocked.com/
UP4/2 valves for the F-15 and just a normal two-way with a mini servo for the F-14 http://dreamworksrc.com/catalog/ultr...lve-p-741.html
Power supply for the Robbe system will be IONs, Life for turbines and a small lipo for the gear

Other builds that relate: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_11107361/tm.htm dubds F-14 build
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10...m.htm#10823273 My F-16 Build

disclaimer
I only do this to help, its fun and a great way to learn. I am not here to get into fights over childish things, that doesn't mean you cant voice your opinion. Be respectful, there is nothing wrong with telling someone they are wrong if you do it in a mature way.
Thanks and have a nice day!

The Aggressor Top Gun F-14! only one was every painted like this! Please note the super clean lines FEJ has really done a great job on this one!!!!!

Excuse the Angry Bird I couldnt get the last two F-14 pics to load without adding an odd ball picture

The F-14 has leading edge slats, functional canopy, speed brakes, tail hook and will have external tanks, four missile rails one pod, and the aim/sparrow with possible pheonix

The 14 looks great Fender. I know you'll enjoy that one. The 15's not to bad either!
Now about that Tiger 14...maybe I need a new Kitty in the hanger! Pretty wild.
Keep us all posted and thanks.

You will love that bipe. My team has three of them and they fly like on a rail. Good luck with the maiden. Be sure to do a vid.

This is such a nice scheme, with some weathering will really be awesome. But the insignia should have been low vis ones not mentioning the positioning of it on the wing..., hope you are going to correct this. Good choice on turbine though, Ihave a 140 absolutely flawless and get'n close to a service cycle, thinking about a K-180G soon. All the best Fender!

Sorry to hear this, did both engines flame out or just one? was it turbine failure or air in the lines? If just one engine fail I would have to assume it cant hold altitude with the other engine running. If all this has been brought up before point me the way and I'll catch up. I'm placing two independent fuel systems in mine.

Wap4life very sorry but glad your getting a new one and not getting out of the hobby.Like to know what happen so the same wont happen to mine.

hey fmrr - i believe i had a engine flame out right after take off. the flight before the fatel one i took off and it plenty of power. on this last one i took off at full throttle and once in air it felt that i was losing altitude it roll to the right and i could not recover.

i'm not getting out of the hobby i gave up golf for this and with all these jets in the hanger and few more coming this year, i'm hooked for life.

i still have to fly my fej mig 29, pst reation, tamjet f-16 and fej f-18, i just need time to fly one.
