RE: BAE Hawk @SVF Phoenix Az
Great looking bird. I have my SM Hawk 100 coming in next week. Let me ask you....did you have any issues with the main gear retracting? I know in the past it seemed that the cylinders had some trouble lifting the legs up. Are you running about 100psi?
Thanks
Joe

Thanks Paul
Joe, No problem with the gear going up. I use 100 psi and 2 large tanks. With one tank I was loosing too much air per cycle. The main stick a little coming down. It takes about 60 psi to unlock them. If I am inverted they unlock easy. I hope the gear wear in. This kit was purchased 2 years ago. So if there was an update, it isnt in this version.

Tony:
My T45 was a bit smaller but I had to go to 2 air tanks when I added the gear doors. A lot going on on each cycle. On T45 inside main doors and forward nose gear door close after LG extend. The problem I had was gear goin up, required constant maintenance of cylinder orings to make sure no leaks.
