Help with Tamjets Pipe in Carf Flash
Hey guys,
I'm new to jets and have searched but can't find any information. I bought a Tamjets pipe for my CARF Flash and was wondering how to support the pipe in the fuselage at the exhaust nozzle. The standard pipe that comes with the flash uses tabs to secure it. I am puzzled. Do I make a plywood bracket? If you have put a Tamjets pipe in a flash please show me a pic and information on installation.
Thank you,
Chris

RE: Help with Tamjets Pipe in Carf Flash
I just used 5 hardwood blocks about an inch long. Can't remeber the size but I think they were either 1/4 or 5/16 square. I think they were tapered a bit. These were glued with hysol around the edge of the tail cone. Has worked for over 150 flights for me. There are some pictures out there somewhere either on this thread or one of the Classic Flash threads
