I've fitted mine in the nose, just drilled a 4 mm hole put a fine wire through and pulled the pitot tube back through, you just have to be more careful not to damage it I. Transport etc. I've seen a few 3D printed files for holders that fit on the side of the fuz, may be worth a try.

That's where mine is going. Trying to design a mount that I can retract the tube for transportation.

Thought about doing that, but fixed mine straight in, had an idea about fixing some brass tubing in the nose then fit the pitot tube in some fuel tubing that would slide into the brass tubing, so it could be pushed in more to protect it.
If you come up with a good way I may go back and alter mine, keep us posted on what you do.

Where can I get replacement fuel tanks, mine are leaking. Tanks are paper thin in areas.

If the dubro 50 oz fit, they would be a good replacement as the original tanks were around 50 oz each also.

I have been flying a JL Viper for about 6 months now. Fitted with a BMT 120 which is turned down to 100K and prob only pushing out 8kg of thrust. This aircraft is amazing all round, fly's with such precision and so good in the landing configuration. Super awsome everyday jet ...........

Waiting for new tanks to arrive, originals were crap. I have no idea how to get the lights to work, Guess I'll have to re-read this thread. Would have been nice to have some directions!

That didn't work out, not enough space. Now I need to make some kind of pitot tube protection for transportation.

Anyone have spare parts they would like to sell? I purchased a Viper that needs wing repair and could either use an entire new left wing or at least the lights in case I have to repair mine. It also came with a broken hatch and did not come with a cockpit kit, only a flat board although it has a forward instrument panel.

Thanks

Turbulence.

Just started to enjoy flying this jet and the turbine hatch went missing in flight. Now where am I going to get another one?
I called BVM and I put the word out to friends who may have spare parts.
