JMA WESTONZOYLAND - CANCELLED
Once again with the kind permission of the Sedgemoor Radio Control Flying Club, the JMA will be holding its second jet meeting at the Sedgemoor club flying site at Westonzoyland Airfield in Somerset over the weekend of September 1 & 2. Many will remember the 'Good old days' of Topgun UK when you would be treated to the spectacle of screaming ducted fan models being pushed for every last ounce of performance to obtain the highest possible speeds! and then down at the other end of the scale, wobbling their way to the slowest speed they felt they could get away with!
Numbers are limited and open to JMA members for pre-booking only so get in touch with Roger Kilbey to book as usual. So that those who maybe travelling long distance can make a weekend of it, JMA members have been invited to fly on the Saturday aswell. This will be a normal club day, so you can fly anything that you want . . . jet, prop, turboprop and that 'E type stuff' aswell
Tancock is already polishing his head for extra speed and it is rumoured that he maybe flying a Super Bandit!!
The Jetrebel has said he is not coming . . . . . but that is not going to stop us trying to change his mind!
There are plenty of camping and B&B's in the area and those that camped last year will be able to make the same arrangements.
Have attached a few pictures of last years event.

We're looking at coming down Friday night at the moment, 3 hour drive for us.

Hang on guys! i have just received an email from the SRCFC Chairman informing me that the meeting has been CANCELLED. Will let you no more when i do but it is cancelled and that will not change.

you can see that virtually every sunday in Sept it is booked for something so it would have to be a sat only event.
