RE: Home made UAT tank
Hi Marcelo, presuming you want to make your own bubble trap tank with a fuel filter a la BVM , you can read some information here:

I personally use and prefer the center pickup system, also known as header tank. Pretty simple and effective IMO.
Best regards, Enrique.

I have been looking for someone to show this myself, guess I will just make one myself and see how it goes. I bought the same paper filters that my MAP hi flow UAT has from Autozone. I have read the small baby bottles are what people use or you can get the small plastic bottles from mcmasters

The filter is an automotive fuel filter, with the rubber gasket on the end removed and a washer (with a brass tube soldered to it) is JBWelded to it.
The cap /brass tube need to be aligned, since the holes are not in the center.
Two additional brass tubes are fitted, flush with the bottom of the rubber stopper - #1 for filling and # 2 for vent.
Simple, inexpensive and most importantly ... they work!

RE: Home made UAT tank
I consider myself an expert in UAT types tanks. Here is one I'm working on, there''s a little way to go until it's looks ok but I think it shows the amount of R&D I have already put in. What do you think?
