7th Annual New England Jet Rally Roll Call
Hello!!!!
7th Annual New England Jet Rally is Aug 17-19
Gardner Municipal Airport, Gardner MA
Three full days of flying is planned again for this year.
Tents are still availble, contact Atlantic Tent Rental Company 978-534-2322
Early set up is after 3pm Thursday Aug 16
Plans for this year include our usual Happy Hour friday night and a taco dinner at the field is planned for
Saturday night, details to follow.
Live music both nights!!!

Maureen and I will be there early Friday morning. I now that Brian, Dominic, and Bob S. are coming also.
We'll miss the goodies Saturday, we have a wedding to go to.

Morning Col Daley,
You may purchase Kero at a fuel distributor that is located appoxamatly 1 mile left as you exit the airport main road. I have used thier fuel several times now
without any issues and will certainly return for more if the need arrises. It is physically located behind one of the local gas stations along side of the road.

The Saturday night dinner plans are in place.
We decided to have Southside Grille cater this year, cost/ 12.50 per person. And it goes well with the usual margaritas!!!
Make Your Own Tacos
Corn Taco Shells & Flour Tortillas
Ground Beef & Chicken Taco Meat
Fajitas
Combination of Chicken & Steak Fajitas.
Red Pepper Rice & Refried Beans
Corn bread
Chips & Salsa
Also Noel Veloux will be playing his guitar again this year!
Tickets will be available at the registration tent.

No I have not had any time to work on it. Been busy with getting everything in place for this event and helping my Dad out on weekends.
Unfortunately its looking like I won't have it done in time.

Thanks for the update and I'm preflighting/ staging/ decanting kero right now. I'll be departing Thursday AM for a mid-afternoon ETA to assist with site setup, etc.
Looking forward to the 7th annual of thisGREAT northeast jet event, especially the Mex. theme and will bring some fermented ingredients for Happy Hour/s.

I've been out to Gardner the past couple of years as a spectator, this will be my first year as a participant.
I've just finished a Boomerang XL and hopefully I'll be able to get it checked out and test flown on Friday.

Wayne, bring it on down we can check it out and get her test flown. I always keep an xl in the trailer, there too much fun. Im sure there will be at least 3 Boomer xls at the event.

I just received this......think you can still fly on Saturday..but talk about cutting it close...!
A new NOTAM/TFR has been issued for the area surrounding Manchester, Windham and Rochester, NH for Saturday, 8/18 from 11:00a until 7:15p EDT. The TFR is issued for security purposes to cover VIP movement in this area. Outdoor radio controlled model aircraft operations are prohibited within the 25 and 30nm circles for the specific times listed below. Control Line and Free Flight modelers should use discretion and follow the directions of local law enforcement and government officials when operating within the 10nm inner circles. Please note that TFRs are subject to change with very short notice. Check back often for the most current NOTAM/TFR information. Timely alerts are also available on the web or on your cell phone at: Twitter.com/amagov.

As I said earlier..Gardner Airport is NOT within the restricted (TFR) for Saturday.....

Having said that Meesh is right.....talk about just squeaking by. It looks like Gardner Airport is good to go, by not more then maybe 1-2 miles
