Building an Ultra Flash and the bypass is no where close to align to the back of the inlet extension. Anybody run into this and if so, what did you do to fix it.

A photo would help...
But normally the two line up OK. Sometimes a small amount of heat from an air gun is required to reshape things after they left the mould and settled, but I have built two UF and 3 Flashes and none required much work.

alignment significantly off on mine... this caused the wing not to seat properly.. just slide the inlet... easy solve
Don't have a photo, as the plane is at my friend house being repaired.

A little heat will not work here. The vertical alignment for the front of the bypass to the back of the inlet extension is off by 25-30mm

Which turbine do you have installed?

getting a rabbit 100. Started working on this tailpipe, bypass, inlet thing and saw some problems. I will not bolt everthing up until I get the turbine mounted properly, center line of thrust down the tailpipe, then I can see about the bypass.

Just built two of these and both lined up without a hitch.

I installed the conmformal tanks on one of these and those caused the inlet to become egg shaped right before the bypass. This is due to the tanks being a bit to wide for the intended purpose.

But without the conformal tanks in place, they were a perfect fit.
