Good sport jet for a fair price ?
Hello guys,
im looking for a good sport medium size jet, something like the Ultra Flash or Bandit, preferabely fully composite (as it needs to be tough) for a fair price.
I would love an Ultra Flash relaly but the price is steep so im having second thoughts.
Does this exist at all ? it seems like the market is lacking in this field.
thanks for reading.

Ah the ever asked questions..........depends on what you mean by 'fair' price. Flash is very well made, a very good flyer that also looks really cool. It will take lots of abuse and last for years!! (as mine has). So is it expensive, well not really, considering it is very very good value.
Can you get cheaper jets well yes .........and they are in finish and ability.
Buy one and love it.................!

Gotta be a MBA Tornado but there I am biased.
But honestly as a sports model which does need a but of "building" it's a first rate model

OK i will emphesize that im looking for a high speed high performance aerobatic jet.
So far i thought about flash (pricey), bandit (pricey) and Dragon (which is too big to fit in my Toyota Corolla).
The reaction looks much more like a floater than high speed high performance machine?

There is a ready for paint CAI Raptor in the classifieds for a good price. If I had the money I'd grab it. Has the strength and durability of the flash with better speed and precision than a bandit. My Raptor is equaled only by my firebird. I've had a bandit, had a flash, had lots of sport jets, and the raptor outshines all but my firebird. It's truly a shame cai is out of business.

You could look at PAF-de!
They do some nice sports jets (kits) for a low budget, but you will have to build them!
Seen them fly at jet power last year and they were quite impressive!
Ultra Flash is a great plane for the money if you've got it!
If I hadn't of bought a Super Bandit I would of had the UF!
You could see what comes out at Jet Power 2012, I understand there
will be a few new sports airframes to be launched!

I've got a CAI razor that I'll sell you, ready to go with servos, gear, valves etc just need to drop a turbine in it. I think that will meet
Your criteria its a 200mph bird and looks like its doing every bit of it standing still.

HI Guys, most are not pricing a jet right, the up front money is not a good way of pricing a jet. The proper way to price a jetis the total cost to get it in the air, subtract the resale value, then divide the number of flights you got on it.
In other words, its the cost per flight.
My BVM jets are the cheapest, and FEJ's, the most expensive.
The best entry jet and first flight of the day jet is the Boomerang Sprint.
The second tough , allround jet is the Flash.
And next is the BVM Bandit and Bobcat.

Strap a P120 size turbine on the Reaction and you'll have your high speed jet with reasonable landing speed and a plane that can handle paved and grass runways.

True John, but a Reaction will NOT fit in a Toyota Corolla.
