Many thanks to Ray, the folks at Horizon .... and the many other participants and helpers that made this one fantastic event. Though I have seem many videos of night flying .... I was AMAZED when I saw it in person on Saturday night.
Here is a short video from my on-board camera of the site.

RE: Maine Jet Rally
First thank you Ray, your team of volunteers and the Horizon Hobby gang for making this an unforgettable grand scale event for pilots as well as spectators. Looking forward to next year! Also a correction from Art Arrow's comment, Dave Skillings won the Best Military Scale with his A-10. I was awarded the 'Pilot's Choice' for the Hunter.

RE: Maine Jet Rally
Jorge and All,
You are correct in that David Skilling won the "Best Military Jet" award with his fantastic A-10 Thunderbolt II /aka Warthog twin turbine jet.
Pardon my error on this point.
The Maine Jet Rally/ Horizon Air Meet was so fantastic that I forgot this item in all of the activities, especially the Sat. evening hangar party and night flying with smoke. It was unreal and I'll have many fine memories of this event.

RE: Maine Jet Rally
Jim,
Those are some really good shots and they really capture the spirt of the event. Myself, Bigbri and Dominic where relaxing yesterday afternoon after a hard morning of flying at Westover AirForce Base and we where talking about whats going to happen next year for the Maine Jet Rally. I heard some buzz as to this was great success for Horizon that they may want to do it again. What do you guys think about that????????? Do you guys think it was a success for the pilots???????????

Jim, fantastic photos, thank you!
Kudos again to Ray LaBonte for coordinating in my opinon the greatest RC event in New England. I don't wish the mental stress on Ray, but I would love to see this again next year in Maine.[8D]
