Which large hawk?

RE: Which large hawk?
My hawk was purchased from Anton this year. It's the lastest version. Obviously it's your plane and you can add more tanks if you wish. I'm just saying I have a 160 and land with reserve after 7 min.

RE: Which large hawk?
Thanks
It is the earlier version that as bigger capacity.
Can anyone identify the second tank in the Black Hawk?Manufacturer, etc?

Nuno

Gonzalo, where are you putting the extra tanks and what's the capacity?
I am using the stock fuel set-up in my SM Hawk with a EvoJet 160vx (uses more fuel than equivalent JetCat) and I get 7 min flights with reserve.

The tanks are Dubro but can't remember their capacity.
The other 3 x Skymaster Hawks that we have at our club are using the same additional tank setup without a problem.
I will maiden mine this coming Saturday (hoping to do it...).

Nuno:
I will let you know when I do the maiden flight, but typically in our club they will fly it for 8 minutes and they will have plenty of full for a couple of turn arounds in case that something goes wrong with the approach.

RE: Which large hawk?
Yesterday we did the maiden of my Skymaster Hawk 100.
Michel from www.jetsrc.com was in charge of the takeoff and trimming and then I had the chance to take over to enjoy it for a couple of minutes. The day was very gray so the chamo scheme wasn't the greatest for visibility, but the big pylons under the wing helped us have a better vision of the plane.
This plane flies great at half throttle with a Rhino. A little bit more and the plane starts picking up speed fast.
At landing time, we noticed that one of the main wheels wasn't coming down so a decision to land with just two wheels was made. The fact that we were flying with pylons helped and the plane itself didn't suffered any damage. The left pylon was scratched but not as bad as I thought it could be. Nothing that a little bit of fibber and paint can't fix. Great work of Michele who did the landing.
We flew around 8 minutes, did a couple of turn arounds because of the landing gear issue and still had some fuel left.
Great flying plane.... and it looks awesome with all the details from Details 4 Scale.
