So ....How Low can RCJET Pilot get ??

From Last Friday

Believe it or not, Thomas' Hawk did not touch the pavement on this pass! He did scrape off the dorsal fins on a previous low pass, which is actually what allowed him to get this low!

no, low is when you hit the retract switch and you have to give a lil up trim so your gear can lower.......

Wow, thats some low passes... Dave's right.. and the probability of taking it home in a garbage sack goes up asymptotically( engineering for a butload) !.. I saw greg wright tie the record last weekend.. there was a small scrape on the Outside of his bandit wing after a knife edge pass down the runway.. I thought it was close... it was..wish I had a pic of it..

There is a great video of Ali getting a bit too low at Pampa and touching the ground, could have went all wrong only for the superb bit of recovery flying when the jet flipped.

then there is B-1 Bob,s picture we joke as lowest knife edge pass but all know it was a drop wing on landing he scraped the tip but still cool picture anyway
